Reach Out event at Orso's

Reach Out is an organization that raises money for domestic violence nonprofits in Chicago. This year, Between Friends was chosen as the recipient of their fundraising efforts!

Reach Out has teamed up with Orso's Restaurant in Old Town for the sixth annual wine fest - out on their amazing upstairs deck - for a great evening of fundraising under the stars! Located at 1401 N Wells in Chicago.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Every October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Kick off this commemorative month by volunteering! Opportunities to get involved include: tying purple ribbons to the trees outside Fourth Presbyterian Church and lighting thousands of candles at Oak Street Beach to honor the thousands of women that have been killed by their abusive partners. If you are interested in volunteering for either the ribbon tying or to set up the candles, please contact the Director of Development at 773-274-5232 ext. 16.

A Taste of Art

Come out and enjoy a night on the town while browsing art by local renowned artists. Enjoy a selection of fine wines, cheeses, and chocolates as you help raise funds for our programs for individuals affected by domestic violence. The event will take place in November so keep checking for more details.
